Privacy

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics and no tracking. It is hosted on Codeberg Pages by Codeberg e.V., Gormannstraße 14, 10119 Berlin, whose servers process the connection data, such as your IP address, that is technically necessary to deliver the pages.

The blog loads MathJax and TikZJax from the jsDelivr content delivery network and reads the list of posts from the Codeberg API. The home page and the papers page read publication counts from arXiv and repository data from the Codeberg API. When these resources are loaded, the respective provider receives your IP address. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in a functioning site, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The blog keeps rendering caches in the local storage of your browser. They contain no personal data and can be deleted at any time through your browser.

Under the GDPR you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For all questions about data protection, write to the address above.

AI disclosure

A blog post in whose making an AI model took part carries a badge under its title. The badge names the model and its version, its colour marks the maker of the model, and pointing at it shows a short explanation. The three kinds of badge mean the following:

The design of this site draws inspiration from the work of Nick La (N.Design Studio) and Christian Budschedl (Kriesi.at). The logo was hand-drawn by Luciana Diaconescu and is used with her friendly permission.

The implementation was created with the help of the models Claude Sonnet 5.0, Opus 4.7, Opus 5.0, Opus 5.5, Fable 5.0 and Fable 5.1 by Anthropic. The same models produced the illustrations of the blog entries and the thumbnails of the talks. All of them were checked by hand, thoroughly and one by one, for mathematical correctness.

The design itself is entirely my own work, and its copyright rests with me.
